GDG University of Karachi is the Google Developer Group chapter at the University of Karachi (UoK), part of Google's global community network for developers interested in Google technologies. The University of Karachi, established in 1951, is Pakistan's largest university by enrolment, making its GDG chapter one of the broadest-reach developer communities in the country. GDG chapters worldwide organise DevFests, Google workshops, study jams, and hands-on sessions covering technologies such as Android, Firebase, Flutter, TensorFlow, Google Cloud, and more — helping students gain practical, industry-ready skills. University of Karachi's social media community (active as @kutimes and @kutimes1951 across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube) reflects the large and engaged student base this chapter serves. Their partnership with Jinnah League '24 as an outreach partner leveraged this wide campus network to bring UoK's tech-passionate students into the competition.
